For years I’d thought about blogging but held off because I’m technically inept. There is NO machine I  have ever conquered; I may be the only housewife in New York City still afraid to take on the microwave.  But family encouragement — and  indeed, initiation, bring me here, at last, with joy.

While I am currently first and foremost a grandma,  like most people I wear many hats.  I am also a teacher and a writer.
